What we are dealing with
More precisely
For employment purposes
We help employers to employ a third-country national. A residence permit for the purpose of employment may be obtained by a third-country national whose purpose of residence is to work for remuneration, work for another part or under their direction, or who is a company, cooperative or other legal entity (for gainful purposes) owner or a senior official, who performs actual work in addition to their activities falling within the scope of this activity.
The residence permit for the purpose of employment is assessed in a single application procedure. This means that the conditions for issuing a residence permit and a work permit are examined in a single procedure. The application is assessed by the National Directorate General. The competent government employment office is involved in the procedure as a competent authority, which issues a resolution of the competent authority on whether it supports the employment of the third-country national in Hungary.
Earning income
A residence permit may be issued to a third-country national whose purpose of residence is to carry out an independent activity for remuneration in accordance with the law; to act as a senior official of a company, cooperative or other legal person established for the purpose of earning income. A third-country national who has real estate in Hungary can also receive a permit for the purpose of earning an income.
Ensuring family coexistence
A residence permit for the purpose of ensuring family cohabitation enables the reunification of third-country nationals or Hungarian citizens and their third-country family members residing in Hungary.
Other
A third-country national can obtain a residence permit if they wish to stay in the territory of Hungary for any purpose other than the purposes listed in the law and otherwise fulfills the conditions for staying in Hungary (language learning, other).
Legislation on the residence and establishment of third-country nationals, i.e. non-EU citizens, in Hungary (information, permits, immigration law, possibility to use a full range of legal services).
Immigration can be classified as a law enforcement activity, the main purpose of which is to deal with the entry, temporary stay and establishment of foreign nationals in the territory of a given country.
Although there are some common immigration regulations in the legislation of many countries, especially those that apply to the whole of the EU, it can be said that the immigration regulations of most states differ. For this reason, and in order to avoid possible pitfalls, it is worth contacting the law firms and specialists dealing with immigration law in different countries for detailed questions and accurate information – they are able to provide complex legal assistance to their clients in the administration of visas or residence permits and, last but not least, they can help in the acquisition of citizenship.
The essential activity of the immigration law, which is in itself complex, including the lawyers specializing in this specific field of law, is manifested in helping and guiding third-country nationals. In the procedure of applying for a visa, obtaining a residence and establishment permit, experienced lawyers with international practice are able to undertake comprehensive and case-based case management for clients who seek help from them within the framework of immigration law.
If you, as a third-country national, want to stay in Hungary for a longer period of time or settle here in the near future, our law firm is at your disposal and ready to provide a full range of legal services supporting your legal residence.
Under current legislation, citizens of all countries that are not members of the European Union are considered third-country nationals. There are special rules for their stay.
